Moi & Toi Design is a small graphic design studio based in Winnipeg, Canada. Owned and operated by Designer Catherine Delaquis, Moi & Toi Design provides professional, personalized design services producing high quality work for a diverse range of clients, throughout Canada, Australia and The United States.
Communication and management are critical in the design process. Before starting Moi & Toi Design, I spent time directing and managing creative teams both in-house and with outsourced design agencies, weighing the pros and cons of each approach. I found that as “the client” working with agencies was frustrating and inefficient. The communication through the typical agency hierarchy was challenging, costly, and not nearly as effective as conveying my needs directly to an in-house designer. It was then that I determined the simple direction Moi & Toi Design would take. A design studio based on this direct relationship between client and designer, devoted to understanding each client’s brand, needs and budget the way an in-house designer would, but with the flexibility of being an outside resource.
An all-in-one experience is provided for every client within the small house of Moi & Toi Design. They are each serviced with my extensive experience in graphic design, brand consulting, project management, production management, creative direction and my ability to work well with clients, interpreting their needs, their ideas, and their brands.
I proudly manage every stage of Moi & Toi Design projects, ensuring there are no gaps in communication between ‘toi’ (the client) and account managers, designers, and production managers as it is ‘moi’ who wears each of these hats.
“Moi & Toi” is just my little way of saying that here, it’s simple, with just Moi (Me, the designer) & Toi (You, the client).
